One of the most exciting and historic spots in New York City is the Rockefeller Center. There is so much to see and experience at Rockefeller Center, it consists of 19 commercial buildings covering 22 acres between 48th and 51st in Midtown Manhattan.
One of the most popular spots is the Rockefeller Center Ice Skating Rink right in the heart of midtown at Rockefeller Plaza and is fun for everyone. Another popular attraction in Rockefeller Center is Radio City Music Hall, where you can see concerts, comedy shows, theater performances and even take a venue tour. Rockefeller Center is full of restaurants, shops, art and historic landmarks.
It is also most famous for the lighting of the Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree.
Rockefeller Center was declared a New York City Landmark in 1985 and a National Historic Landmark in 1987 and noted for all of its large quantities of art in the Art Deco Buildings.
